Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ in Whanganui seeks a skilled Forklift Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain forklifts and related plant in a busy workshop setting.

You’ll work solo or in a small team, perform servicing on LPG, diesel and electric forklifts, troubleshoot hydraulics and mast issues, and carry out electrical fault-finding with a strong emphasis on safety.

The role is full-time, based in Whanganui, with steady client demand and opportunities to grow hands-on expertise.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical background with forklifts, heavy plant, or automotive experience.
• Hydraulics experience is a big advantage.
• Reliable, tidy and capable of working solo or in a small team.
