Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a field service technician in Hamilton to service and repair forklifts, reach trucks, and related equipment both on site and in a well-equipped workshop. You will work autonomously while contributing to a supportive team.

This permanent, full-time role offers overtime, a company vehicle, tool allowance, discounted fuel card benefits, and comprehensive insurance cover. A relevant automotive trade qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant automotive trade qualification.
• Experience working on forklifts or similar heavy machinery is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out servicing and repairs on forklifts and materials handling equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Travel to customer sites for breakdowns and field service work.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

The role
