Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a Meat Processor for immediate start at our Woolston, Christchurch location. Part-time permanent role with Monday to Wednesday shifts from 12.00 pm to 08.30 pm, supporting the packing, labeling, and preparation of meat products to meet quality and safety standards.

Typical duties include operating vac packs and other machinery, organizing orders for delivery, and maintaining a clean, hygienic workspace.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have prior experience in meat processing or packing.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Pack and label meat products with precision.
• Ensure packaging meets quality and safety standards.
• Operate vac pack and other machinery to wrap meat.
• Prepare orders for timely delivery to customers.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
• Assist with general butchery and operational duties.
