Job summary

Thai Therapeutic Massage Limited in Auckland, North Island, seeks an experienced Massage Therapist to join a professional and friendly team. The position involves performing full-body massages with Thai/Sports/Relaxation techniques, aromatherapy, Hot Stone Therapy, and reflexology.

Qualifications

  • Have at least 1 year of relevant experience (experience in a Traditional Thai Massage clinic is preferred); OR
  • A Certificate in Massage Therapy at any level, with a preference for candidates who hold a Traditional Thai Massage certificate from a reputable provider
  • Proven experience and competency using tools, equipment, and materials relevant to the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Perform full-body massage using a variety of treatments and techniques, including traditional Thai/Sports/Relaxation massages, aromatherapy treatments, Hot Stone Therapy, and Feet Reflexology for feet
  • Provide every client with an excellent experience identical to our Brand
  • Able to give introductory training to new staff in treatment as directed by management
  • Achieve retail sales and client rebooking targets set for you by management
  • Participate in paid or unpaid training to effectively carry out your duties
  • Provide coverage for staff on leave
  • Monitoring and maintaining a satisfactory level of cleanliness of tools, equipment, and front and back of house areas on the premises
  • Ensuring all H&S procedures are followed closely, including the appropriate use of massage equipment and Personal Protective Equipment
  • Performing tasks and duties according to the client's purchase and within agreed timeframes
  • Reporting problems/issues that may impact the organisation, its customers or health and safety
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the team and organisation
  • Responsible for the equipment provided for your use by ensuring that the equipment is maintained and used in accordance with the training provided
  • Any other reasonable tasks as required by the organisation

To support our operation the growth of our business, we are seeking an experienced Massage Therapist to join our professional and friendly team.


Your Key Responsibilities are:

*** Please note that we require our staff to be available to work weekends, evening and public holidays.


Position requirements:


  • Have at least 1 year of relevant experience (experience in a Traditional Thai Massage clinic is preferred); OR
