Job description

Campfire Digital Recruitment – Auckland, North Island

Auckland | 12 Months Fixed-term contract | Software company | Hybrid

Campfire is proud to be partnering exclusively with Serato, the company behind some of the world’s most trusted DJ and music production software, to appoint their next Marketing Operations and Projects Manager. We’re searching for a highly organised Marketing Operations and Projects Manager to become the operational backbone of its marketing team, driving major campaigns, product releases, partnerships and events from planning through to launch. This is a maternity leave cover until September 2027.

If you thrive on bringing structure to busy creative environments, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a genuinely influential role. You’ll coordinate high-profile campaigns, digital product releases, partnerships and events while working across a skilled, international team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll manage multiple marketing projects from initial briefing through to delivery, building work-back schedules, tracking milestones and keeping stakeholders aligned. You’ll also help oversee budgets, invoices, agreements and the systems that support delivery.

This is a visible, trusted position with broad exposure across marketing, creative, growth, ecommerce, social, legal and finance. You’ll receive a structured handover from the current role holder, giving you time to understand the operation before taking ownership.

  • Drive marketing projects from planning and prioritisation through to execution
  • Coordinate product releases, campaign assets, web updates and go-live checks
  • Run project meetings, track actions and keep milestones firmly on schedule
  • Support budget administration, invoicing, agreements and partner payments
  • Maintain clear project systems and improve how work moves across the team
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You’ll bring proven experience managing complex projects from start to finish, ideally within marketing, events, software or another fast-moving environment. You know how to create structure while remaining adaptable when priorities shift.

You’re a confident, proactive communicator who is comfortable following up, challenging delays and keeping senior stakeholders accountable. You can quickly learn established systems and operate independently within a fixed-term assignment.

  • Proven end-to-end marketing, event or project management experience
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and deadline-management capabilities
  • Experience managing budgets, invoices and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Confidence using project-management and collaboration platforms
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and assertive when required
