Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Enviro NZ is seeking a seasoned marketer to join their Marketing & Communications team in Auckland. The role spans the full marketing mix with a strong digital focus, shaping campaigns, reviewing creative, and turning opportunities into market activity.
You’ll work with Sales and other teams to drive results, manage agencies, and help grow the Enviro NZ brand across New Zealand.
At Enviro NZ, we’re helping shape a more sustainable future for Aotearoa.
Every day, our teams work with households, businesses and councils across New Zealand to recover resources, reduce waste and create better environmental outcomes. We’re a national business with strong local connections, ambitious plans for growth and plenty happening.
Which means there’s heaps for marketing to get stuck into.
Some days you’ll be digging into campaign results, website leads and search performance. Other days you’ll be talking through an opportunity with Sales, shaping a new campaign, reviewing creative, working with an agency or helping bring an event to life.
That’s what makes this role interesting.
It needs someone who knows their way around the full marketing mix. Digital will be a big part of your world, but you’ll know that good marketing doesn’t live in one channel. You can see the bigger picture, spot an opportunity and work out how to make it happen.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, you’ll play an important role in how Enviro NZ shows up in market, connects with customers and grows across New Zealand.
Quite a lot of great stuff. This is a broad marketing role with plenty of variety.
You’re an experienced marketer who can move comfortably between strategy and doing.
You know digital marketing well. SEO, paid search, social, websites, email, automation and analytics aren’t just things you’ve worked around. You understand how they fit together and how to use them to get results.
But you’re not only a digital marketer.
You can shape a campaign, write a good brief, challenge creative, present an idea, work with an agency, talk with Sales and use data to make a better decision.
You think commercially and understand that good marketing needs to do more than look good. You want to know whether it worked, what we learned and what we should do next.
You’re curious, collaborative and happy to share what you know. You can challenge thinking without making everything hard, build good relationships across a business and bring people with you.
And because you’ll be leading our Digital Marketing Specialist, you’ll enjoy helping other people grow too. Sharing what you know, giving good direction and creating the space for someone else to do great work.
You’ll join a small Marketing & Communications team with big ambitions. We back each other, enjoy what we do and aren’t precious about where a good idea comes from.
There’s also genuine variety. One week might involve a major digital campaign or a new customer proposition. The next could include an event, a sales opportunity, a brand project or figuring out a better way to reach a particular market.
You won’t be short of things to work on.
And there’s plenty of opportunity to make your mark. Marketing has an important role to play in where Enviro NZ goes next, and you’ll help shape what that looks like.
Behind all of it is a business doing work that matters. We help customers across New Zealand deal with some pretty complex environmental challenges and make looking after the environment easier.
