Job description

CVinternational is partnering with a highly regarded New Zealand luxury retailer to appoint a Marketing Account Manager. This newly scoped position will manage marketing activity and relationships across a portfolio of prestigious international jewellery and watch brands.

Sitting at the centre of the business, its brand partners and the wider marketing team, you will translate commercial and brand priorities into beautifully executed campaigns, events and client experiences.

The scope can be tailored to suit either an established Marketing Account Manager or a more senior candidate capable of owning annual planning, high-value partnerships and portfolio strategy.

What’s on Offer

The opportunity to work with some of the world’s most respected jewellery and watch brands.

Broad ownership across campaigns, media, events, activations and partner relationships.

Direct exposure to senior leadership and international brand representatives.

A collaborative Auckland CBD working environment.

Scope and seniority will be aligned with the successful candidate’s experience.

About the Role

This is a marketing account-management position rather than a sales or new-business role. You will act as a key contact for an allocated portfolio of brands, ensuring agreed marketing activity is planned, briefed, approved and delivered to the highest standard.

Working closely with internal marketing, creative, digital, communications, events and retail teams, you will keep multiple campaigns and stakeholders aligned while protecting the individual standards of each brand.

Depending on your experience, the position may be expanded to also include ownership of annual marketing plans, strategic recommendations and senior-level presentations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day relationships with selected luxury jewellery and watch brand partners.

Coordinate integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional media.

Translate brand and commercial objectives into clear briefs, timelines and deliverables.

Brief Meta and wider digital activity to internal specialists.

Coordinate advertising requirements, approvals, artwork and media deadlines.

Support the development and delivery of brand activations, product launches and client events.

Maintain campaign calendars and communicate key deadlines to retail teams.

Track marketing expenditure, reconcile invoices and coordinate brand recharges.

Prepare and circulate post-campaign and post-event reports.

Ensure all activity reflects the required luxury-brand standards.

Work pragmatically across internal teams, external suppliers and brand representatives to keep activity moving.

For a senior appointment: develop and present annual marketing plans and recommend new opportunities across the brand portfolio.

About You

The successful applicant will have at least five years’ experience within marketing, client services, brand management, partnerships, communications, media or activations.

Demonstrated experience coordinating campaigns from the initial brief through to delivery and reporting.

Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple brands, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.

Polished and confident when communicating with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Commercially aware and comfortable managing budgets, expenditure and campaign reporting.

Able to create clear briefs and coordinate creative, digital, media, PR and event specialists.

A strong understanding of luxury or premium brand standards and customer expectations.

Credible, consistent, trustworthy and exceptionally attentive to detail.

Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with practical, hands‑on execution.

Experience within luxury jewellery, watches, fashion, beauty, automotive, hospitality or another premium consumer environment will be highly regarded. Candidates from agency account management, brand‑side marketing, partnerships, events, PR or retail marketing backgrounds are also encouraged to apply where they can demonstrate strong transferable experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a polished marketing professional to take meaningful ownership of prestigious brand relationships within a respected and evolving luxury business.
