Job summary

Vortex Marine Ltd is seeking an organised Marketing Coordinator to drive content and campaigns for Scout, our portable navigator. You will own the comms calendar and ensure timely publication, while coordinating social posts, emails, and visuals across multiple platforms.

Join a small Auckland team, work 20–24 hours weekly in Albany, and benefit from mentoring from our fractional CMO. This permanent part-time role requires the right to work in New Zealand and offers hands-on marine tech

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a marketing coordinator or similar role.
• Hands-on social media scheduling experience, ideally with Meta Business Suite.
• Klaviyo or similar email platform experience.
• Canva skills and a creative eye.
• Strong written English and a sharp eye for detail.
• The ability to manage your own workload.
• Bonus: Meta Ads or Google Ads, events experience, or time on the water.

Vortex Marine builds Scout, a portable navigator that puts high-resolution satellite imagery alongside charts, weather and vessel data on one screen. We are a small Auckland team with a working product, paying customers and plenty to get in front of boat owners. We need an organised marketing coordinator to make it happen.

What you’ll do

• Own the comms calendar and get content published on time
• Schedule and publish social content in Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn
• Build and send email campaigns in Klaviyo
• Make day‑to‑day visuals in Canva from our brand templates

What we offer

$32–36 per hour, depending on experience

20–24 flexible hours a week, 1–2 days in our Albany office
