Permanent, full-time | Auckland or remote by negotiation | Starting early 2027
Maurice Trapp Group is looking for an organised, creative and proactive Marketing and Events Coordinator to support marketing activity and deliver engaging events across all our channels.
Reporting to the Head of Operational High Performance, this is a varied shared-service role combining marketing coordination, content, design and end-to-end event delivery. It would suit someone with around two to three years’ relevant experience who enjoys turning ideas into polished campaigns, materials and memorable experiences.
Coordinating marketing initiatives, campaigns, advertising, promotions and communications across MTG.
Supporting the planning and maintenance of website and blog content.
Coordinating content with internal stakeholders and writing or editing content where required.
Producing professional, brand-consistent materials using Canva or something equivalent, including business cards, templates, promotional collateral and other design assets.
Helping maintain and strengthen the consistent use of MTG’s brands and visual identity.
Managing marketing schedules, deadlines, approvals and supplier relationships.
Planning and delivering internal and external events, including high-performance workshops, Christmas functions and the Annual Awards Night.
Coordinating venues, suppliers, invitations, registrations, budgets, event materials and on-the-day delivery.
Monitoring campaign and event outcomes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Providing practical marketing and event support across all MTG channels.
Ideally, two to three years’ experience in marketing, communications, events or a similar coordination role, or convince us you are ready for this new challenge!
Strong Canva or equivalent capability and a good eye for professional, consistent design.
Excellent organisation, planning and attention to detail.
Clear and engaging written communication skills.
The confidence to coordinate multiple stakeholders, suppliers and competing deadlines.
The ability to take ownership, follow through and keep others informed.
A practical, adaptable and collaborative approach.
Experience coordinating campaigns, digital content or events from planning through to delivery.
Relevant marketing, communications, design or event-management qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad and visible portfolio, work with teams across MTG and contribute directly to how we communicate, celebrate success and engage our people and audiences.
The role will preferably be based in our Auckland office, although remote working arrangements may be considered by negotiation.
