Sunnytech Solar is seeking a Business Analyst to act as the company’s in‑house industry researcher and commercial analyst. This role will study New Zealand and international markets for solar generation, lithium battery storage and related sectors to translate findings into actionable insights for the management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business, IT or computer science preferred.
• Experience with BA methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Research NZ and overseas markets for solar, lithium storage and EV sectors.
• Track competitors, suppliers and distribution channels for benchmarking.
• Build and maintain an evidence base from industry data and internal records.
• Evaluate new business models and revenue opportunities with commercial analysis.
• Prepare feasibility studies and business cases for management.
• Assess supply side options, costs, certifications and warranties.
• Gather market intelligence from customers, installers and trade events.
• Analyze current workflows and suggest process improvements.
