Job summary

Babcock New Zealand invites an experienced project management leader to define and shape major maritime projects before delivery. You will work across engineering, commercial, supply chain and operations to transform strategic requirements into executable programmes that support defence and maritime capability.

You will engage senior stakeholders, lead multidisciplinary teams, establish baselines, and ensure projects are governance-ready for successful execution.

Qualifications

• Experienced leader who can define robust project scopes, schedules, budgets and risk frameworks in maritime or asset-intensive environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence senior leaders and partners.
• Proactive, commercially aware, delivery-focused mindset to turn strategy into practical outcomes.
