Job summary

Marlborough Girls' College is seeking an experienced Outlet Manager for Blenheim Yum Yum Kebab and Smoothies to oversee daily operations, staff performance and service quality. You will manage stock, control costs and implement promotions to grow sales while maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction.

The role requires proven retail or hospitality management experience, ability to plan rosters, and strong commercial awareness to drive profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality or outlet management is required.
• Ability to lead staff and manage operations with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of sales, costs and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation and commercial performance of the outlet.
• Plan staffing, rosters and workforce utilisation to meet needs.
• Lead staff performance, training and workplace standards.
• Monitor sales, cash handling and operating costs, seek profitability opportunities.
• Manage stock levels, purchasing and inventory control, coordinate with suppliers.
• Maintain customer service standards and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure food quality, hygiene, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Review performance data and provide recommendations to management.
• Implement promotional activities to boost sales and engagement.
