Sagely is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a small team and partner with senior stakeholders across the business in New Zealand. The role blends financial stewardship with continuous improvement, delivering robust planning, insightful financial guidance, and clear communication of performance metrics.

You will drive improvements in systems and reporting, support strategic and operational decisions, and cultivate a customer-focused finance function.

Formación

• CA qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Previous leadership experience within a finance function.
• Ability to explain financial information in a practical, easy-to-understand way.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and answering questions constructively.
• Strong systems aptitude and a genuine interest in process improvement.
• Hands‑on, pragmatic approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.

We're partnering with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead a small team and provide trusted financial support across the business.

This is a broad and visible role that combines people leadership, business partnering, financial stewardship, and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, helping them understand financial performance, make informed decisions, and identify opportunities to improve how things are done.
