The NZ Defence Force in Wellington is seeking a motivated Management Accountant to support the Maritime capability with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and ongoing performance monitoring.

You'll work with leaders to provide insights for operational and strategic decisions, while rotating across Capability areas and enjoying a structured development pathway. Flexible arrangements may apply after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Two + years' experience in financial analysis, management accounting, or business partnering, ideally in a large / or professional organisation
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
