Job summary

Woolworths Group NZ is seeking an Operations roster role in Napier. You will manage store routines, lead the swarm teams, and ensure deliveries and shelves meet Woolworths standards.

You’ll contribute to a safe work environment, coach team members, and step in as Acting Store Manager on shifts. The role emphasizes collaboration, process excellence, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Execute Operations & Stock Management: ensure timely routines and supervise shelves and deliveries per standards.
• Team Leadership & Development: train and coach team members; foster safe, healthy work environment.
• Maintain Store Standards: ensure evening team meets packaging standards and manage overstocks.
• Resolve Issues Proactively: escalate process issues to the Function Lead for resolution.
• Contribute to Store Leadership: act as Store Manager on scheduled shifts and support teamwork.

• Execute Operations & Stock Management: Ensure accurate and timely completion of routines, leading the \"swarm\" to correctly handle tasks, and overseeing all teams to fill shelves and manage deliveries according to standards.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead on-job training and coaching for team members, and champion a safe and healthy work environment.
• Maintain Store Standards: Ensure the evening team are filling to correct standards, prioritize shelf-friendly packaging, and manage overstocks effectively.
• Resolve Issues Proactively: Timely elevate process-related issues to the Function Lead for resolution.
• Contribute to Store Leadership: Step up as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and actively participate in \"Better Together\" connections to foster team collaboration.
