Woolworths Group in Hamilton, New Zealand, is seeking an enthusiastic operations coordinator to manage daily workflow, lead the swarm, and ensure shelves and deliveries meet our standards.

You'll work closely with your Team Leader, cover weekend/evening shifts, and help drive store leadership and a safe, collaborative environment within a global retail group.

This role offers opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to better experiences for customers across our NZ stores.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations or retail process management.
• Ability to lead teams and train staff.
• Comfort with weekend/evening shifts.

Responsabilités

• Execute Operations & Stock Management: ensure timely routines and oversee teams to stock shelves and manage deliveries.
• Team Leadership & Development: lead on‑the‑job training and coaching for team members.
• Maintain Store Standards: ensure evening team meets standards and manage overstocks.
• Resolve Issues Proactively: elevate process issues to the Function Lead for resolution.
• Contribute to Store Leadership: act as Acting Store Manager on shifts and support collaboration.

• Execute Operations & Stock Management: Ensure accurate and timely completion of routines, leading the \"swarm\" to correctly handle tasks, and overseeing all teams to fill shelves and manage deliveries according to standards.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead on-job training and coaching for team members, and champion a safe and healthy work environment.
• Maintain Store Standards: Ensure the evening team are filling to correct standards, prioritize shelf-friendly packaging, and manage overstocks effectively.
• Resolve Issues Proactively: Timely elevate process-related issues to the Function Lead for resolution.
• Contribute to Store Leadership: Step up as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and actively participate in \"Better Together\" connections to foster team collaboration.
