PKS Civil is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Canterbury plant reliable and productive. You’ll perform planned, preventive and reactive maintenance across all machinery, diagnose faults, and return equipment to service with minimal downtime.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll manage spares, keep the workshop in order, and uphold safety practices on the floor so everyone heads home well. A practical, can‑do mindset and 2+ years of maintenance experience are preferred.
PKS Civil designs and manufactures large-scale PE and PP pipe and fabricated structures for drainage, stormwater and wastewater projects across New Zealand. It's a busy, modern manufacturing site — and our plant is only as good as the people who keep it running.
That's where you come in. We're after a Maintenance Technician who knows their way around machinery, keeps a cool head when something goes down, and takes real pride in fixing things properly. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll be the go-to for keeping our plant reliable, safe and productive.
No two days are quite the same. One day you're working through planned maintenance; the next you're diagnosing a breakdown and getting production moving again. You'll:
