Job summary

Green Marble Recruitment Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Planner for a high‑speed manufacturing site in Auckland. You will plan and schedule engineering maintenance across daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and shutdown programmes, and coordinate activities with the Engineering team.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance planning, MS Project and CMMS proficiency, and knowledge of SHEQ. Grade 12 and an Engineering diploma are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 completed or equivalent.
• N6/T3/S4 Diploma in Engineering advantageous.
• Trade Test as Electrician/Millwright/Fitter advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance planning.
• Minimum 3 years in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• MS Project is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365.
• Working knowledge of CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of SHEQ.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule engineering maintenance activities across daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and shutdown programmes.
• Coordinate planned and ad hoc maintenance activities with the Engineering team.
• Assist with preparing and updating weekly maintenance plans and schedules.
• Schedule and allocate preventative maintenance tasks to resources through the CMMS.
• Maintain and update preventative maintenance master data.
• Follow up on completed projects and analyse maintenance feedback.
• Update equipment BOMs and add new components to the system.
• Maintain and update the Critical Spares List.
• Create purchase requisitions for Electrical, Services, Process, Safety, Mechanical, Stores, and Projects requirements.
• Coordinate consumable orders and ensure the required approvals are obtained.
• Monitor and report on weekly maintenance execution, schedule compliance, breakdowns, and artisan productivity.
• Analyse maintenance history and report findings to management.
• Review job cards and verify the integrity and accuracy of maintenance data captured by artisans.
• Assist with analysing maintenance shutdown costs.
• Work closely with Engineering Stores to ensure spares are available for planned maintenance.
• Support Engineering team safety requirements, including LOTO, PTW, and SOPs.
• Perform general maintenance-related administration as required.
• Compile maintenance reports using collected and analysed data in the prescribed formats.
