Job summary

Enliven is seeking a part-time Facilities Maintenance assistant to perform repairs across Ranui & Castlewood, ensuring a safe and attractive space for residents, staff and visitors. The role involves liaising with contractors, carrying out maintenance checks, and keeping external areas clean and well maintained.

The position is permanent, part-time (10–20 hours per week) with potential to increase to 40 hours to cover extended leave in the future.

Qualifications

• Practical hands-on experience in carrying out repairs.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage time effectively.
• Good organisational skills to liaise with contractors and suppliers.
• Physically fit and strong.
• Hold a current driver’s license.
• NZ trades certification or relevant qualification (not essential).

Job description

You will carry out repairs and maintenance across Ranui & Castlewood facilities and ensure the facilities and environments provide a safe and attractive space for residents, staff, and visitors. This role will involve undertaking repairs, liaising with contractors, conducting maintenance checks, and keeping external areas clean and tidy.

Hours:

Permanent, Part time; 10-20 hours per week, Monday - Fridaywith a willingness to increase to 40 hours to cover extended leave in the future.

About You

The ideal applicant will:

• Practical hands-on experience in carrying out a wide variety of repairs
• Work well in a team, and have good time management skills
• Good organisational skills, to liaise with contractors and suppliers
• Be physically fit and strong
• Hold a current driver’s license
• NZ trades certification or relevant qualification (not essential)
