Job summary

Enliven Alexandra’s Ranui and Castlewood homes are seeking a dedicated part-time Housekeeper to support daily cleaning duties and provide a healthy living environment for residents, staff and visitors.

The role involves cleaning resident bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas, with a full orientation on joining. You will work 24 hours per week across a rotating schedule and join a caring team committed to quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in a residential facility or commercial environment is an advantage.
• Must be fit and able to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks.
• A full orientation will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident bedrooms, showers and toilets across the facility.
• Carry out a range of housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment.

Join our housekeeping team at Ranui and Castlewood.

The Role

Housekeepers in Enliven homes don't only dust, clean and mop floors, they play a vital role in the smooth running of a care home and provide a clean and healthy environment for our residents, staff, volunteers and visitors. This work involves a range of housekeeping and cleaning activities throughout the facility, including cleaning resident bedrooms, showers and toilets. Experience cleaning in a residential facility / commercial environment/knowledge of Housekeeping will be an added advantage. However, a full orientation will be given.

Hours: Permanent, part-time. 24 hours per week to be worked

• Week one: 0830-1500hrs (6hrs/day) on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Week two: 0830-1500hrs (6hrs/day) on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Our services for older people are provided by Enliven. We create elder-centered communities where older people have companionship, meaningful activity, purpose, and fun in their lives. We strive for a family like environment for both residents and their loved ones.

Situated in the beautiful Alexandra, Ranui is home to 48 residents who are supported at the hospital, rest home, and dementia level care.
