Job summary

Presbyterian Support Otago is recruiting for a part-time housekeeper to join the Enliven teams at Ranui and Castlewood in Alexandra, Otago. The role involves cleaning resident bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas to maintain a clean and healthy environment for residents and staff.

The position is permanent, part-time (24 hours per week) with fixed shifts across two weekly patterns, and full orientation will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Housekeepers in Enliven homes perform a range of housekeeping and cleaning activities throughout the facility, including cleaning resident bedrooms, showers and toilets. A full orientation will be provided to new staff. Experience in residential/commercial cleaning is advantageous.

The Role

Housekeepers in Enliven homes don't only dust, clean and mop floors, they play a vital role in the smooth running of a care home and provide a clean and healthy environment for our residents, staff, volunteers and visitors. This work involves a range of housekeeping and cleaning activities throughout the facility, including cleaning resident bedrooms, showers and toilets. Experience cleaning in a residential facility / commercial environment/knowledge of Housekeeping will be an added advantage. However, a full orientation will be given.

Hours: Permanent, part-time. 24 hours per week to be worked

• Week one: 0830-1500hrs (6hrs/day) on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Week two: 0830-1500hrs (6hrs/day) on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
