Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operator to support a busy food manufacturing site in South Auckland. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently.

This 4-week assignment offers steady weekday hours, an early start, and the chance to gain exposure to food manufacturing. Start date 14 September, location Wiri, Auckland, paying $28 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/engineering maintenance or FMCG.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical troubleshooting preferred.
• Able to diagnose faults and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Understanding of workplace safety and quality standards.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
• Trade qualification or relevant maintenance experience is advantageous.

• Minimise production downtime through effective maintenance practices.

• Trade qualification or relevant maintenance experience is advantageous
