Job summary

Estia Health is seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer/Handyperson to work across our Birkdale and Carindale facilities. You’ll take pride in the presentation of a well maintained home for our residents, using your “fix it” skills and joining a team of dedicated and caring individuals that are enriching and celebrating residents’ lives every day.

We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Officer/Handyperson to work across our Birkdale and Carindale facilities.

You’ll take pride in the presentation of a well maintained home for our residents, using your "fix it" skills and taking pride in your work, you will join a team of dedicated and caring individuals that are enriching and celebrating residents’ lives every day.

In this busy role you’ll:

• Use your can-do, collaborative approach to ensure the presentation of the home is of the highest standard.
• Enjoy the variety of working both inside and outside, the challenge of a multitude of different tasks and the opportunity of getting to know residents as you support them with their maintenance requirements.
• Have good attention to detail, the ability to co-ordinate the maintenance program and excellent record keeping in this interesting role where your general handy skills are highly valued.
