Qualifications

• Trade-based experience with hands-on maintenance.
• Good knowledge of Building Code and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing maintenance activities and working to compliance standards.
• Recent experience coordinating or supervising contractors.
• Ability to manage resources and work within an agreed budget.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach.
• Good organisation and time management skills.
• Clear communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance across the village.
• Develop, implement and monitor planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure buildings, plant, property and equipment are maintained to standards.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet compliance, regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Identify maintenance issues early and provide practical solutions.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and ensure safe work.
• Support health and safety requirements and hazards management.
• Manage maintenance resources and inform leadership of cost implications.
• Assist residents with practical maintenance needs where appropriate.
• Provide on-call support for facility emergencies when required.
