Job summary

Oceania Healthcare Ltd in Auckland is seeking a capable, aspirational leader to support the Eden Care Centre and Retirement Village operations. You’ll work with the General Manager to drive resident experience and day-to-day performance across the site.

This broad leadership role involves coaching teams, overseeing budgeting and planning, and ensuring leadership continuity when the GM is unavailable. A valid New Zealand driver licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service environment, ideally healthcare, aged care, or hospitality.
• Developing people leadership skills and ability to bring teams together.
• Strong organisation and ability to manage competing priorities across multiple areas.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to day-to-day operations leadership and performance of the site.
• Provide operational oversight across resident experience, housekeeping, and village events.
• Work with department leads to deliver high standards of care and service.
• Build relationships with residents, families and teams.
• Support recruitment, induction, retention, and development across the site.
• Oversee resident feedback, complaints, and quality, compliance and health & safety initiatives.
