Our client is a well-established New Zealand food manufacturing company based in South Auckland. They’re looking to add another trade qualified maintenance electrician to their maintenance team.
The role is a hands‑on electrical maintenance position supporting a busy manufacturing site. You’ll be working across the production plant carrying out planned maintenance, fault‑finding, breakdown support and general electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
The site includes a mix of motors, drives, control panels, sensors, conveyors and automated machinery, so you’ll need to be comfortable working in an industrial production environment and getting stuck into faults when they arise. PLC fault‑finding and VSD experience are important.
You won’t be expected to program from scratch, but you will need to be confident diagnosing faults, tracing issues and working alongside the wider maintenance team to keep production running.
This is a rotating shift role with some weekend work, offering a solid hourly rate and good annual earning potential.
