Job summary

Kiwibank is seeking a Main Bank Growth Manager in Wellington to identify, prioritise and deliver growth initiatives across customer acquisition, onboarding and retention. You will translate strategy into actionable plans and drive delivery from concept through measurement.

You'll partner across Product, Frontline, Brand and Digital teams to embed improvements that keep customers at the heart of every decision, using data and market context to prioritise high-value opportunities.

As our Main Bank Growth Manager, you'll identify, prioritise and deliver initiatives that improve Main Bank customer acquisition, onboarding, activation and retention. You'll translate growth strategy into clear, well-executed plans, leading delivery from concept through implementation, performance tracking and optimisation.

You'll connect strategy with execution across customer journeys, channels and frontline experiences. Using data, customer insight and market context, you'll focus effort on the highest-value opportunities and help create measurable improvements for customers and the business.

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll partner across Product, Frontline, Brand and Purpose, Digital and Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal and Finance to embed sustainable improvements and keep customers at the heart of every decision.

• A proven track record in delivering customer growth, product or journey initiatives with measurable customer and commercial outcomes
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence assessing value, trade-offs and impact
• A data-led mindset, with depth of understanding in customer behaviour, performance measures and growth levers
• Proven ability to lead change and align stakeholders across complex, cross-functional environments
• Skilled at working with frontline teams to understand customer pain points and translate them into practical improvements
• Clear, practical communication and strong planning skills, with the ability to adapt as priorities evolve
