Job summary

Tradestaff New Zealand in Auckland is seeking Night Shift Machine Operators for an immediate start in a stable manufacturing environment. You will operate and monitor plastic injection moulding machinery to produce high‑quality components for medical, industrial and international markets.

Ideal candidates are reliable, safety‑conscious and capable of working independently or as part of a team on night shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience.
• Experience in plastic injection moulding is encouraged but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Night Shift Machine Operators – Immediate Start

Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking for a stable night shift role with a well-established New Zealand manufacturer?

We're recruiting reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join a leading Auckland-based manufacturing business that has been producing world-class precision plastic components and innovative products for over 50 years. Working with advanced injection moulding technology, you'll be part of a team that manufactures high-quality products supplied to medical, industrial and international markets.

Available Shifts

Shift 1

• Monday – Friday
• 4:00pm – 12:00am

Shift 2

• Saturday & Sunday: 7:45pm – 7:45am
• Monday & Tuesday: 11:45pm – 7:45am

About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for ensuring production runs smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your duties will include:

• Operating and monitoring plastic injection moulding machinery
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Trimming, assembling and packing products as required
• Completing production documentation accurately
• Keeping your work area clean and organised
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets

What We're Looking For
