Vitaco in Penrose (Auckland) is seeking a Machine Operator for GMP packing on the afternoon shift (2:00pm–10:30pm). You will work in our packing/manufacturing area, operating high-speed machinery and following SOPs in a GMP environment.

Experience with setting and improving lines is preferred; you should be physically able to lift up to 25 kg and communicate clearly in English. We offer development opportunities, attractive hourly rates, wage reviews, and on-site amenities.

Machine Operator Packing – Afternoon Shift 2:00pm to 10:30pm

The opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi

This role is working in our packing/manufacturing area. Previous experience in operating high-speed machinery is desirable. You will preferably also have experience in setting and improving lines. Experience in pharmaceuticals/nutraceuticals/food & Sport nutrition manufacturing or similar industries would be ideal, as would a good understanding of GMP environments.

• Have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve


• Are physically fit and capable of safely performing manual handling tasks, including lifting items up to 25kg on a reasonably frequent basis


• Can be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and deadlines


• Are passionate about improving the way you work


• Are able to work both alone and as part of a team


• Respect Health & Safety in the workplace


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards


• Ability to read, understand and accurately follow work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, (SOPs), and safety requirements


• Demonstrated ability to follow established processes and work effectively within a regulated manufacturing environment


• Good communication, both verbal and written English
