Job summary

Dimond Roofing in Rotorua is seeking a Machine Operator for the Day shift (Monday to Friday). You will read shop orders, operate machinery to produce quality output, and load/unload delivery trucks.

We offer development and training opportunities, including tickets for Forklift Driving and Gantry Crane, with a supportive, diverse team within the Fletcher Building group. Ideal candidates are mechanically minded, with NZ restricted/full license, eager to learn, and able to communicate clearly in

Qualifications

• NZ restricted or full driver license.
• Motivated and keen learner.
• Mechanically minded with manufacturing experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in material recording.
• Health and safety awareness and basic math.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator to join our team here in Rotorua on our Day shift - Monday to Friday!

We will develop and upskill you whether it is developing you on machinery or obtaining your Forklift and Gantry license. We are looking for individuals that have the right attitude who are keen to learn and develop in the role.

The Role;

• You will be part of a key team reading Shop orders
• Operating machinery whilst ensuring quality output and maintaining a safe environment
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks

About you;

• NZ Restricted / Full License
• You will be highly motivated, and a keen learner!
• You will be a mechanically minded person who has experience in or wants to work in our manufacturing environment
• Show a high attention to detail as you will be recording materials and ensuring accuracy
• Health and Safety awareness and a good understanding of processes and procedures
• Have a good standard of written communication is also required as well as basic mathematics
