Job summary

Vulcan in Hamilton, NZ is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to run aluminium extrusion lines. You will monitor quality, perform routine adjustments, and ensure safe, efficient production in a permanent, full-time on-site role.

Ideal candidates have experience with extrusion machinery, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 25 kg. A valid work visa or right to work in NZ is required, with pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating extrusion or similar machinery.
• Ability to read production specifications and work instructions.
• Experience with machine set-up, adjustments and basic troubleshooting.
• Willing to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machinery and monitor production runs.
• Carry out quality checks and basic machine adjustments.
• Load raw materials and ensure smooth production flow.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
