Job summary

Davin Industries in Christchurch is seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join our precision sheetmetal fabrication team.

You will operate Haeger and CNC laser cutting machines, follow safety rules, and maintain a clean, safe work area within a friendly Stratco Group environment. Teamwork is essential as you contribute to batch production runs and prototypes, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

• Experience in a machine operators role.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate Haeger machine, CNC laser cutting machines and other machinery/processes
• Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
