Job summary

Juralco Aluminium Building Products in Christchurch, South Island, is seeking a hands-on CNC Machine Operator & Warehouse Assistant to join our small team. You will run the Biesse flatbed CNC and edgebander for wooden joinery, supporting wardrobe kit production for our national customers. The role covers light assembly, packing, delivery, and general warehouse tasks. Training will be provided for all required skills and equipment.

Qualifications

• Accurate with an eye for detail and pride in work.
• Ability to follow instructions and stay organised.
• Reliable, self-managing and able to work in a small team.
• Current clean NZ Driver's license (restricted with manual) required.
• Birthday day off and discretionary Christmas bonus.
• Training provided for necessary skills.

Responsibilities

• Run the Biesse flatbed CNC and edgebander for wooden joinery (training provided).
• Move and organise aluminium components.
• Quality control of finished products.
• Wrap, dispatch and deliver orders.
• Operate forklift if required (training provided).
• Communicate with regular trade customers.
• Assist other production areas when needed (flyscreen fabrication).

CNC Machine Operator & Warehouse Assistant

Juralco Aluminium Building Products – Christchurch, South Island

Juralco Aluminium is a leading distributor of aluminium building systems with a fabrication and distribution facility based in Middleton, Christchurch. We are currently looking for a CNC Machine Operator & Warehouse Assistant to fill a hands-on role. Your primary responsibility will be running the Biesse Flatbed CNC machine and edgebander which supplies wardrobe kits to our national customer base. The CNC machine is for wooden joinery. The role also involves general warehouse duties such as light product assembly; moving, packing and delivering aluminium profiles and components. You will need to be adaptable and used to working within a small dynamic team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Run the Biesse flatbed CNC and edgebander for wooden joinery – Training provided
• Moving and organising aluminium
• Quality Control
• Wrapping, dispatching and delivering orders
• Forklift driving – If necessary, training will be provided
• Communicate with regular trade customers
• Assist our other production areas (flyscreen fabrication) if and when required. Training will be provided
