Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for inpatient services. The role involves delivering patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, including medications, therapies, and interventions, at BayCare Alliant Hospital.

Candidates should have an LPN license and BLS, with ACLS preferred. Requirements include 6 months acute care experience as LPN or PCT, and education of High School or equivalent. This position is full-time with daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• LPN license and current certification.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• 6 months acute care experience as LPN or 6 months acute care as PCT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care as directed, including medication administration, therapy and interventions.
• Provide personal care and supervision to a child for SIPP patients where applicable.
• Complete the 30-hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course within the first two weeks of the LPN internship; not required for SIPP.

The LPN Inpatient Responsibilities Include
