Job summary

BayCare Alliant Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for inpatient care. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive patient care, including medication administration and therapies.

This role emphasizes collaboration with the nursing team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. The position is full-time with evening shifts (6:45pm - 7:15am), occasional weekend work, and no on-call requirement.

Qualifications

• LPN license/certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse for assigned patients.
• Administer medications, therapies and interventions as directed.
• Provide personal care, assistance and supervision as applicable by role.

Position Description: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

The LPN Inpatient Responsibilities Include

• Works in collaboration and under direction of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for delivery of patient care as directed for assigned patients including medication administration, therapy and interventions.
• SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child.
• Successful completion of the 30 hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN internship; however this is not required for SIPP.
