Job summary

Rockgas is New Zealand's leading LPG supplier, offering a role as LPG Driver/Operator. The position involves loading and unloading LPG cylinders, working in a primarily sole-charge capacity after initial training, and delivering to customers with strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Applicants should hold at least a Class 1 full licence or Class 2 heavy vehicle licence, have proven truck delivery experience, and maintain high physical fitness.

Qualifications

• A minimum Class 1 full licence or a Class 2 heavy vehicle licence.
• Proven experience driving a truck, preferably in a delivery role.
• Excellent physical fitness to move LPG cylinders.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours and in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Move LPG cylinders and load/unload onto trucks.
• Work in sole charge after training period.
• Maintain a safe work environment per health and safety policies.
• Support progression to Class 2 licence where starting with Class 1.
