Job summary

Rockgas, New Zealand's leading LPG supplier, seeks a reliable delivery driver in Auckland. You will move LPG cylinders, load them to trucks, and deliver to customers; after training you’ll work in sole charge while maintaining safety.

Applicants should hold a Class 1 or 2 licence, have a strong customer focus, good fitness, and teamwork. Rockgas offers support, a safety-first culture, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Class 1 full licence or Class 2 heavy vehicle licence; Dangerous Goods endorsement would be an advantage but training may be provided.
• Proven experience driving a truck, preferably in a delivery role.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Very good level of physical fitness to move LPG cylinders.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, integrity and adaptability.
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours and in all weather conditions.
• Medical check including drug and alcohol test and criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Move LPG cylinders safely between storage areas and delivery trucks.
• Load and unload cylinders onto delivery vehicles.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Support training for Class 2 licence and gain practical driving experience.
