Job summary

Rockgas in Auckland invites applications for a truck driver role requiring Class 1 or Class 2 licences with a strong safety culture. You will operate in a sole charge capacity after training, handling LPG cylinders, loading and unloading, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

The role emphasizes customer service, physical fitness, and teamwork, with potential training to upgrade licenses and support for career development in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum Class 1 full licence or a Class 2 heavy vehicle licence (DG endorsement advantageous but trainable).
• Proven experience driving a truck, preferably in a delivery role.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Very good level of physical fitness to move LPG cylinders.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, integrity and adaptability.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours and in all weather conditions.
• Recruitment includes a medical check with drug and alcohol test and criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Work in a sole charge capacity after initial training.
• Move LPG cylinders and load/unload them onto trucks.
• Maintain a safe work environment in line with health and safety policies.
