Job summary

Air New Zealand is seeking a Sales Specialist (Partner Management) to support the growth of its Airpoints loyalty programme in Auckland on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will work with Travel, Retail and Financial partners to deliver commercial outcomes and elevate member engagement.

Reporting to the Chapter Lead Loyalty Partners, you will manage partner portfolios, develop growth plans, run campaigns, and use data to identify trends.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in sales, account management, partnerships, loyalty, or a similar commercial environment.
• Experience working with external partners, clients, or third-party relationships.
• Understanding of financial services, OTAs/TMCs or the broader travel ecosystem, or Loyalty.
• Comfortable working with commercial targets, sales plans, reporting, and performance measures.
• Strong relationship management and clear communications for updates and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Support loyalty-driven revenue growth by identifying and delivering commercial opportunities across partner portfolios.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with Airpoints partners, ensuring engagement and delivery of activities.
• Assist with development and delivery of partner growth plans, campaigns, and member engagement initiatives.
• Use data and reporting to track partner results, identify trends, and inform growth recommendations.
• Support revenue forecasting, budget tracking, and portfolio performance reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, marketing, product, operations, analytics) to deliver partner initiatives.
• Monitor partner obligations, renewal dates, and commercial terms for contract oversight.
• Prepare partner updates, performance summaries, and internal reporting to aid decision making.
