Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our FMCG distribution network. This fully remote role requires strategic thinking, strong vendor management, and hands-on experience with TMS/WMS to drive efficiency from manufacturing facilities to retailers.

You will lead跨-functional teams, negotiate contracts, and monitor KPIs to reduce costs and improve delivery times while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards across a national network.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize their distribution network for FMCG products. This is a fully remote position, offering the chance to manage and enhance logistics operations without being tied to a specific physical location. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods from manufacturing facilities to distribution centers and ultimately to retailers. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, transportation management, and inventory control, driving excellence in a challenging and fast-paced sector from the comfort of your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for efficient transportation, warehousing, and distribution of FMCG products .
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Optimize logistics operations to reduce costs, improve delivery times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics management, with a proven track record in the FMCG industry.
• Expertise in transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex logistics operations remotely.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
