Job summary

Lion Pty Ltd in New Zealand is seeking a Logistics Data Analyst to join the NZ Warehouse & Distribution team at The Pride Brewery on a permanent full-time basis. You will use data, technology and analytical thinking to solve operational and commercial problems across our logistics network.

You’ll build models and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, Python or R, analyse large datasets, and translate findings into practical recommendations for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong technical and analytical capability in a quantitative field.
• Experience using SQL, Python, R, Power BI or similar.
• Ability to work with complex datasets and structured solutions.
• Proactive, self-starting mindset and curiosity to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify opportunities across warehouse and transport.
• Build analytical models, tools and visualisations to turn data into insights.
• Use SQL, Python or R and Power BI to solve problems and automate analysis.
• Support network optimisation across transport, warehousing, route design and costs.
• Test hypotheses and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand challenges and frame solutions.
• Continuously improve analytical capability, tools and ways of working.
