Job summary

Open Country Dairy is seeking a hands-on Logistics Analyst to support warehousing, transport and export decisions. You’ll report to the Group Logistics Manager and help quantify logistics costs, monitor supplier performance, and identify opportunities to improve cost, efficiency and visibility across our national network.

You will work with commercial, warehouse and transport teams to produce accurate reports, dashboards and forecasts that drive better decision-making and measurable cost

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ logistics, supply chain, inventory or operations analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel and strong data analysis skills.
• Financial, forecasting and reporting capability.
• Experience with 3PL, transport, warehouse or logistics suppliers.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Validate logistics invoices, investigate cost variances and maintain accurate rate cards and pricing schedules.
• Produce cost reports, forecasts, dashboards and KPI reporting across warehousing, transport, inventory, carriers and export service levels.
• Analyse inventory movements, storage utilisation and slow-moving or excess stock to support reconciliations and capacity planning.
• Track supplier performance, SLA compliance, claims, CAPAs and corrective actions through to resolution.
• Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs, improve processes and standardise reporting.

About The Role

This is a hands‑on analytical role where your reporting, cost analysis and insight will directly support better logistics decisions across Open Country Dairy’s warehousing, transport and export operations. Reporting to the Group Logistics Manager, you will help the business understand logistics costs, track supplier and operational performance, identify improvement opportunities and strengthen visibility across the national network.

What You’ll Be Doing
