Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Livestock Manager to oversee animal husbandry operations near Queenstown. You will manage feeding programs, breeding strategies, health monitoring, and ensure welfare standards across the farm.

Qualifications

• Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Technology, or related field.
• Significant experience in livestock management, preferably with cattle, sheep, or poultry.
• Strong knowledge of animal nutrition, reproduction, and disease prevention.
• Experience with herd health management and record-keeping systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work physically demanding hours and in varying weather conditions.
