Job summary

Waikato Law Firm is seeking a Senior Solicitor/Associate to join its litigation and dispute resolution team in the Waikato region. The role involves handling a diverse caseload across contractual disputes, property, construction, defamation, negligence, and employment matters.

You will work with a collaborative team, providing strategic advice, mentoring junior colleagues, and representing clients at mediations and court appearances.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in litigation with some experience in the District and High Court.
• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
• A proven track record of managing complex cases and working with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills

A new opportunity has now become available for a Senior Solicitor or Associate to join the firm's litigation and dispute resolution team.

As part of the litigation team, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting cases including contractual disputes, property, construction, defamation, negligence actions and employment law.
