Job summary

Bay Venues is seeking a reliable lifeguard for the Baywave team in a permanent 35-hour-per-week role, Tuesday to Saturday. Training will be provided to upskill in lifeguarding and safety. You will help deliver great customer experiences in a busy aquatics environment.

Ideal candidates are proactive, safety-focused and comfortable in a pool setting, with opportunities to grow into a full-time position and broader Baywave activities.

Qualifications

• Current Pool Lifeguard Skills Award (PLSA) required.
• Valid First Aid Certificate required.
• National Certificate in Recreation & Sport (Aquatics) desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool users and maintain safety across shifts.
• Perform water rescues and life-saving techniques as needed.
• Actively supervise customers for extended periods in an aquatics setting.
