Job summary

Auckland Council in Auckland is seeking a Librarian for the Library Services team at Te Manawa Hub. The role focuses on engaging Pasifika communities in Henderson/Massey Local Board area and developing services aligned with community needs.

This 32-hour position requires weekend work and late nights, currently Sunday to Wednesday, in a busy hub offering a welcoming environment and opportunities to deliver community-focused programmes that enrich learning.

Qualifications

• Engage with Pasifika communities to co-produce and develop library services programming.
• Maintain and promote a Pasifika collection.
• Support wider Library Services programming and day-to-day operations.
