Job summary

DUAL in Auckland is seeking an organised underwriter with 2–3 years of liability underwriting experience to join our WebRater team within Commercial. You will underwrite new and existing business, support brokers with timely decisions, and help maintain a high level of service.

The role covers assessing new business, renewals, referrals, and communicating quotations, while working with digital workflows and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Liability underwriting experience
• Ability to assess risk and follow guidelines
• Strong communication with brokers by phone and email

Responsibilities

• Assessing new business, renewals and mid-term changes across WebRater products within your authority.
• Reviewing referrals and declines, requesting additional information and documenting underwriting decisions.
• Preparing and communicating quotations, bindings, policy conditions and endorsements.
• Managing your WebRater and IMS workflow, keeping notes, ownership and statuses accurate and up to date.
• Following up quotations, renewals and outstanding information to support conversion and retention.
