Job summary

Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland's Epsom invites a Teacher Aide / Support Teacher to join the Learning Support Faculty (Wairoa). You will support neurodiverse students in years 7–13 across all subjects, building positive relationships and adapting to a wide range of learning needs.

This is a 12-month fixed-term role, from Term 1, 2027, with 32.5 hours weekly. The successful candidate does not need a teaching qualification.

• Flexible, adaptable approach to diverse needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork within the faculty.
• No teaching qualification required; suitable from varied backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support neurodiverse students in years 7-13 across curricula.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students.
• Fixed-term 12-month role starting Term 1, 2027.
• 32.5 hours per week, 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time.
