About the role

Takapuna Grammar School is seeking an experienced full-time teacher of English to take on a leadership role in the English department.

The upcoming changes in the NZC provide an opportunity for development and change in both our senior and junior programmes, and this role involves responsibilities in these areas.

The successful applicant will be someone with a strong educational background in English and experience in leadership and staff management. Expertise in teaching and learning, and a willingness to assess and lead change, where necessary, in our curriculum and assessment programmes are also important qualities we would expect applicants to have.

Management units will be available for the right candidate once the role is agreed upon and established.
