Job summary

Papatoetoe High School in South Auckland is seeking an experienced English teacher to join our English Department from the start of term 1, 2027. You will teach NZC Levels 2 and 3 and contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Candidates must be registered to teach in New Zealand, eligible to work here, and demonstrate a positive, collaborative approach to professional development and student learning.

Papatoetoe High School is a large, co-educational state secondary school in South Auckland, serving a vibrant and diverse community.

We are seeking an experienced, inspiring and passionate English teacher to join our English Department from the beginning of term 1, 2027. Applicants must have proven experience teaching English at NZC Levels 2 and 3.

We are looking for a teacher who will inspire and challenge our students and who embodies our school motto, Digne Lampada Tradas, encouraging students to be worthy to hand on the torch to the next generation.
